Corrections log

Every time a fact turned out to be wrong and was fixed, it is listed here. Wording, design and translation tweaks are not listed, and neither are fixes made in review before a page went public.

How facts are checked

1. For each post, every number, date, name and quote is pulled out and checked against the original source, opened directly. A post with a known error is not published. The result is in the "Check record" box at the bottom of each post.
2. Automatic checks run regularly: whether a fixed error has crept back in, whether a changing number says "now" without a date, whether source links still work, and whether the official explorer screens have changed.
3. Readers can report mistakes through the tip form. If a report is right, the post is fixed and the fix is listed here.
